I have been modelling Fashion and Lingerie for several years now bu last week i decided it was time to ty something a little different. So i went t my favorite photographer in Lincolnshire and told him he was going to shoot me naked. It was something that neither myself or Marin Vos had tried but we were very keen to do so.
As it was my first nude i was very nervous yet also excited at the possibility of a new challenge after years of doing the same sort of thing. Martin came prepared with props and a nice comfy dressing gown, being the ditz i am i hadn't thought of this. So of we went to the nearby country side to give the cows a day they would never forget. I hadn't had a shoot for almost a month so to ease back in i did about 5 basic fashion shots. I soon grew tired and wanted to take my clothes of :). After a quick rest we went back to base and sorted out the next location. Under an old bridge seemed like the perfect place fr m to get down and dirty and remove my clothes without being seen. To start of with we did some bra and jean shots which i thoroughly enjoyed, after a while i started teasing with the bra until finally i took it off. Now being new at this naturally i thought i would be self conscious, however it seemed the more clothing i removed the more confident became. I was amazed at how natural i felt being half naked, I just flowed from pose to pose as i would in a general fashion shoot but i found there were new shapes i could make that would never have worked fully clothed.
Martin was a complete gentleman and made me feel completely at ease. I was so thankful o be doing a shoot with someone i consider a close friend and an amazing photographer it made the shoot so much more natural and comfortable.
After a while we decided it was time for a cuppa and a rest (Martin was gagging for a coffee, lightweight) So we trekked back to base and while Martin chugged down a steaming cup of coffee, I don't no how he doesn't burn his mouth, we discussed the next set. I decided that i would like to try something fully nude to see if i took to it. So naturally Martin decided that he would put me in the most uncomfortable place ever, the gravel. So i went to my changing room and to of my clothes while Martin went and set up his settings on the camera. On the way outside i was so nervous, its not every day you are completely naked in the country side. I laid myself down on the gravel, its not comfortable, once i got used to pointy things sticking into my back Martin did a test shot. After this we got some different poses lined up the only problem was i couldn't see because the sun decided to blind me. So we decided to adapt the idea and i would be asleep. Sort of like an Eve image. As soon as the camera was pointed at me once again all my nerves disappeared and i took to it immediately.
Now i had got over he initial nerves the shoot an smoothly, We went for another 4 sets until finally the tiredness started to show. After all i had worked a 12 hour night shift and gone straight to a full day shoot after the 5 second shower. Now that dedication.
So now it was time to go home and have a sneak peak of the images. I was shocked. For someone who had never before attempted nude i think i took rather well. Looking at the images i was amazed by the lack of anything resembling nervousness. So far only one set has been edited but as each set is done i shall upload.
